As I’ve browsed through Instagram to see how others have decided to make their Jane, I’ve come across a few that have really excited me.
Eve Graham (@insagrhm26) did three things that I love: each main block is tone on tone, the background and sashing is done in dark and patterned fabric, and then they chose to do the rainbow around the world for colors. This is truly amazing.
Look at these scalloped edges from Mayumi (@mayubroderie)! I especially love that she chose to do the binding in a contrasting color, really showing it off.
Marie’s Quilts (@mariesquilts) chose a modern bright white background and sashing, making a really bold Jane.
Finally, this video is a family interview with their grandmother about the history of her Jane. I really loved hearing about how she came to the quilt and the friendship she formed.
